What: The Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council at the Iowa Department of Education will hold its annual STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair on Sunday, August 17. Attendees will have the chance to experience dozens of hands-on activities with businesses and organizations from across the state on the Grand Concourse.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be live performances on the MidAmerican Energy Stage from Blank Park Zoo, the Grout Museum, Wartburg College and the Local 5 Weather Lab Experience.

STEM Day at the Fair is sponsored by Alliant Energy, Collins Aerospace, Google and MidAmerican Energy.
