Work-Based Learning Supervisor Authorization

Requirements - First Issuance

• Verification of completion of the work-based learning program supervisor course.
• Mandatory reporter training for child abuse.

A one-year Temporary Work-Based Learning Supervisor Authorization may be issued to applicants who have met all other requirements with the exception of the work-based learning program supervisor course. This temporary authorization is nonrenewable and cannot be extended.

Authority

The Work-Based Learning Supervisor authorization is only valid for service or employment as a work-based learning program supervisor in grades 9-12.  

Conversion

If a temporary authorization has been issued, apply for the Work-Based Learning Supervisor Authorization upon completion of the required course.

Renewals

Mandatory reporter training for child abuse.
