Best Buddies is a global nonprofit organization that empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through peer friendships, job training, leadership opportunities and support for independent living. To help expand these programs in schools and communities across Iowa, the Iowa Legislature provides Best Buddies with a $35,000 state grant.
