Hold an Iowa teaching license and complete the required evaluator training.

Renewals
Approved evaluator course and the mandatory reporter training for child and dependent adult abuse.
OR
Verification of a Master's degree or higher, at least 10 years of PK-12 licensed experience, and the mandatory reporter training for child and dependent adult abuse. Evaluator training less than 10 years old is also required to renew an administrator or evaluator license.
Extension
Yes - if more time is needed to complete renewal requirements.
Other Information
This separate license is not required for someone with an administrator license with an evaluator endorsement.
