Sarah Derry, South Central Iowa Regional STEM Manager

Dr. Sarah Derry has spent more than a decade building partnerships that expand opportunities for youth as the South Central Iowa STEM Region Manager for the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council. Sarah works closely with schools, afterschool programs, nonprofits, and employers to help young people link STEM learning to future careers.  Drawing on her experience in scientific research, classroom teaching, and youth-serving work, Sarah is passionate about fostering collaborations that strengthen educational opportunities and prepare Iowa’s youth for bright futures.
