The Bureau of Nutrition and Health Services administers several programs that provide healthy food to children. Each of these programs helps fight hunger and obesity by reimbursing organizations such as schools, child care centers, and after-school programs for providing healthy meals to children.

The Iowa Department of Education's mission for Nutrition Programs is to facilitate and promote quality USDA Child Nutrition Programs that will benefit the education, health, and well-being of the citizens of Iowa.

The letter must contain the complainant鈥檚 name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
