Math Moments that Matter is a set of grade-level family pages that schools are encouraged to share with families. The pages are meant to:

  • Strengthen the partnership between home and school
  • Support number sense, reasoning and problem-solving
  • Help families continue classroom conversations at home

Each grade-level family page includes:

  • A short explanation of the math big ideas
  • Simple ways to talk and listen in math
  • What families might see in the classroom
