Math Moments that Matter
Math Moments that Matter is a set of grade-level family pages schools are encouraged to share with families. The pages are meant to:
- Strengthen the partnership between home and school
- Support number sense, reasoning and problem-solving
- Help families continue classroom conversations at home
Each grade-level family page includes:
- A short explanation of the math big ideas
- Simple ways to talk and listen in math
- What families might see in the classroom
- What families can try at home to support mathematics
