  1. Master's degree and completion of a professional service license program specific to an education setting.
  2. Mandatory reporter training for child abuse.

Authority

Limited to professional service license areas listed on the license. Can substitute teach in any classroom. Not eligible to add teaching endorsements.

Renewals

Two renewals are available if needed. The second (and final) renewal requires proof of employment in a contracted position that will lead to the standard license. No credits required. Mandatory reporter training for child abuse is required

Extension

Applicants who will meet the experience requirement within one year.

Conversion

Convert to the full Professional Service License after the last day of school once the standard license experience requirement has been met.
