Fall Basic Education Data Survey (BEDS) collects a variety of information from public districts, area education agencies (AEAs) and nonpublic schools. Nonpublic building forms are dependent upon accreditation type and if the schools submit data via Student Reporting in Iowa.

Tips

  • Mouse over “District” or “Building” to see form titles then click on form titles to open. AEAs will find the professional development form under “District”.
  • Always click the ‘Save’ button!! If data is required (in some cases, zeros have been prepopulated into fields), you will not see the ‘Save’ button on the page until answers are provided for all questions on the form.
  • Use the reference manual for specific form information and instructions.
