Iowa CSEd Week 2025: Elementary, My Dear Coder!

The 2025 theme, “Elementary, My Dear Coder” was chosen in Iowa to reinforce the importance of foundational computer science experiences in the early grades. CodeJoy, Terysa Ridgeway from Terysa Solves It and the Science Center of Iowa made it a great week for Iowa students!

CSEd Week 2026

The next official CSEd Week is Dec. 8-14. Until then, you can use activities and resources from the Iowa AEAs (212.49 KB) .pdf to make every week CSEd Week. You can also use these free lessons from the Micro:bit Educational Foundation. These elementary lessons introduce students to AI and take them through training and testing their own machine learning models. These lessons offer unplugged activities and activities using a micro:bit.
