Annually, by Jan. 31, Iowa is required to submit a Consolidated Annual Report (CAR) to the U.S. Department of Education regarding its use of Perkins V funds. Under Perkins V and applicable Department regulations, eligible agencies are required to submit the following reports each year:
- Narrative performance report pursuant to 2 CFR 200.328 and 34 CFR 76.720
- Financial reports pursuant to 2 CFR 200.327 and 34 CFR 76.720
- Performance data reports pursuant to section 113 of Perkins V is available on the Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education's Explore Perkins State Plans and Data website.

States must also report disaggregated student performance data. The Secondary CTE Dashboard on the Iowa Student Outcomes website provides statewide and district-level data on enrollment and secondary and community college performance accountability measures established under the federal Perkins V Act.
