Supporting Family Portal Engagement

Feb. 24, 2026 marks the one-year anniversary of the ACHIEVE Family Portal. The Department is excited to celebrate by helping more families access the powerful tools available to them. The portal provides families with 24/7 access to their child’s IFSP/IEP documents, making it easier than ever to stay informed and engaged.

To support IFSP and IEP case owners and service providers in promoting portal use and confidently guiding families through account creation, a series of recorded sessions provides practical strategies and knowledge to strengthen family engagement and maximize the benefits of the ACHIEVE Family Portal. Recordings include: 1. Actions required in ACHIEVE to enable ACHIEVE Family Portal invitations to be sent. 2. Tools for team members to share account benefits and required registration details with families. 3. Steps families must take to create an account and connect to learner information. 4. Strategies team members can use to increase family engagement and understanding. 5. Supports and Resources available to families who encounter difficulty creating or accessing their account, using the platform, and translating content into other languages.
