Special Education

The Iowa Administrative Rules of Special Education became effective on January 20, 2010, with technical amendments effective on March 30, 2011. Revisions were made to bring the rules into alignment with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) of 2004 and implementing federal regulations issued in 2006 (34 C.F.R. pt. 300).
