Event intended for Early ACCESS (Birth to 3 Years Old) families.
Join EHDI for a playful, connection-filled story time where books come alive through spoken language and American Sign Language (ASL)! Learn new signs, meet other families and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming space for you and your child. Come for the story, stay for the connection. Hands & Tales events will take place every other month in different locations across the state.
Hands & Tales events are designed just for deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families. This free event features a Deaf Mentor who will lead story time, share American Sign Language (ASL), and offer helpful resources. This is a great opportunity for families to connect, learn and build community in a welcoming, inclusive space. Come play, read and sign!
