The Iowa Department of Education has officially launched its new website at educate.iowa.gov. The website is designed to help Iowans easily access the information and services they need. Administrators, educators, business partners and other users are invited to visit the site and update their current bookmarks.

The new website provides a comprehensive overview of the education services Iowans use and now includes information from Iowa College Aid (formerly iowacollegeaid.gov) and the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (formerly boee.iowa.gov), which aligned with the Department last year.

new website

Information from the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council will be incorporated into the new website over the next several months, with an anticipated target launch date in April. The Department’s Iowa School for the Deaf and the Iowa Educational Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired will maintain their own websites and are not part of this work.

The new website complements other state agency websites, which will make the user experience more understandable and easier to navigate across state government.

Information on PK-12 resources, teacher licensures, state scholarships, grant opportunities, higher education and more can be found at educate.iowa.gov.

Questions regarding the new website can be submitted through the Iowa Department of Education Website Form.
