The school nurse is an integral member of the school wellness team. The local school wellness committees also include a variety of other stakeholders. The Local Wellness Policy Outreach Toolkit and the School Wellness webpage are full of resources the school nurse and the school wellness team can utilize to engage in the work aligned within the school's wellness policy and health service delivery. The toolkit creates structure and empowers all school personnel and learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to make healthy choices.
