Nonpublic School Advisory Committee

Since July 1, 2025, the Nonpublic School Advisory Committee is a subcommittee of the Iowa State Board of Education. The committee advises the board and the director on issues affecting nonpublic schools, including but not limited to establishing standards for teacher certification and for the approval of all nonpublic schools.
