Established in 2017, the Iowa STEM Youth Advisory Board is instrumental in contributing to Iowa STEM's mission and inspiring Iowa youth in STEM through peer-to-peer engagement.
The Iowa STEM Youth Advisory Board is comprised of Iowa youth from middle school to college age who have a passion or interest in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
The overarching goals of the Iowa STEM Youth Advisory Board are:
- To inform the STEM Council's direction;
- To expand the STEM Council's reach to Iowa youth.
The Board meets monthly, takes on projects as a team and is a voice for peers.
