DES MOINES - The Iowa State Board of Education’s business meeting and annual retreat will take place on Thursday, Sept. 14, and Friday, Sept. 15, at the Anne E. Nelson Early Learning Center located at 620 N. 8th St. in Council Bluffs.
The Board’s regular business meeting will be held in person from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14. The work session will run from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, and will continue on Friday, Sept. 15, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Members of the public may join in person at the Anne E. Nelson Early Learning Center. A virtual option for the business meeting portion will be available for those who wish to attend remotely. In-person seating is limited. Instructions for joining the business meeting remotely are available in the meeting agenda.
