Iowa school districts will have six opportunities to attend an interactive workshop on the new 2023 Education Visualization and Analytics Solution (EVAAS) growth reports in October.
In partnership with SAS® EVAAS, the Iowa Department of Education is hosting half-day, in-person trainings across the state that focus on the major EVAAS reports and their components. Attendees of the workshop will learn how growth is measured, tips to navigate the web application and recommendations on how to interpret and use the reporting results to support teachers and students.
EVAAS reports provide data to help school districts make informed decisions on areas related to student supports, educator supports and school improvement planning. District and school administrators, school leadership teams and professional learning communities are strongly encouraged to participate in one of the EVAAS workshops.
The upcoming workshops will be held at the following Area Education Agencies (AEA):
- Oct. 3 Green Hills AEA, Council Bluffs
- Oct. 4 Heartland AEA, Johnston
- Oct. 5 Great Prairie AEA, Ottumwa
- Oct. 10 Prairie Lakes AEA, Pocahontas
- Oct. 11 Central Rivers AEA, Cedar Falls
- Oct. 12 Mississippi Bend AEA, Bettendorf
Participants are welcome to register for any location for the training. Due to space limitations, early registration is highly recommended to ensure a seat at a preferred location.
All attendees must have access to their EVAAS account and reports to participate.
