The Iowa Department of Education is partnering with the Iowa Department of Management Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to offer two webinars to answer questions and share information about cybersecurity tools, monitoring resources and additional support that OCIO has available to Iowa schools.
School administrators, IT personnel and others interested in learning about OCIO’s services are invited to register for one of the following Zoom webinars. A recording of the webinar will be made available to anyone unable to attend on one of the following days:

Jess Flaherty, OCIO local government program manager, will share information about OCIO’s next-generation Endpoint Detection and Response, which is a security tool that detects and prevents a wide range of known and unknown cyber attacks on computers, servers and other devices. The service also includes state-of-the-art around-the-clock security incident monitoring and response for schools and nonprofits.
